In the heart of the Latin Quarter, a few hundred yards and only 2 blocks from the Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, in one of the shortest but oldest streets in Paris, the famous ‘RUE DE BIEVRE’ where President Franois Mitterand once lived when he ruled French Government, you will find this bright and stylish 1 bedroom apartment.
The streets remains blissfully quiet and authentic you will find an extraordinary house, like none other in Paris. Built in the 16th Century in beautiful stone and wooden beam ceilings, which has been home to several historical figures our historic apartment is a little gem and an oasis in the 5eme, Latin Quarter of Paris and next to the St Germain des Pres.
Anne offers you a very stylish classy Parisian apartment of 40 m2 (about 430 feet) on the 1st floor through a narrow staircase. There is no elevator in this traditional historic building built at a time where elevators were not used or factored into the design of the building.

The superb location of our studio means that your visit to Paris starts from the front door of the house being the very sought after Latin Quarter bordering the sophisticated, chic and bustling St Germain des Pres neighbourhood and within walking distnce to the seine, the Ile de Cite and the Notre Dame and easily beyond to the Louvre and Marais (right bank).
Within a 2 minute-walk: typical French open-air market every 3 days, great shopping, restaurants, banks, metro, bus, taxi station, batobus (boat buses), the Seine river and Notre-Dame Cathedral.
Within a 5 minute-walk: Ile-de-la-Cité and Ile-Saint-Louis Islands, the Pantheon, direct trains to Versailles and airports. Within a 15 minute-walk: Le Louvre, Le Marais, Jardin du Luxembourg garden, Hotel-de-Ville, Les Halles, etc
