AAAAH Petite Paris was featured in the Sydney Morning Herald over the weekend. Wow another newspaper feature, does it get any less exciting with each one? NOPE!! 

This time were dishing out the best tips and places to take kids in Paris and breaking the myth that Paris is not a child friendly place. Oh but it is, IT IS!! It's full or artistic, cultural fun for the little ones... We have museums, parks and monuments listed that make wonderful playgrounds and exploration fun for kids, plus some kid cafes and boutiqus :)

L'Aparment hits the BIG Time - featured in Escape Travel! Petite Publicite

It a sweet Monday indeed. In fact it was a sweet Sunday.
Our brand spanking new, just-launched-last-week, Website called L'Apartment (www.lapartment.com.au) is barely out of 'daipers' and it has already been featured in the national Travel papers in Australia.

Across the nation, at all sunny sunday cafes, littered with breaky/brunch dwellers and the sunday papers, the most widely regarded ESCAPE travel section of the Sunday Telegraph/Courier Mail and so forth... ran a little feature on us. L'Apartment and Petite Paris. Hurrah!!! wait a second it's a tad more exciting than that ... HHUURRRRRRRAAAAAAAH!! That's better - ahem! :)

L'Apartment is the sister site to Petiteparis.com.au and lists MORE Paris apartments for holiday rentals, as well as chateau, farmhouses, cottages and B&Bs throughout ALL of France too. Petite has gone national across France. all the homes on the new website are either Australian or French Owned.

Travellers can book their dream country abodes or their chic Parisian pads with L'Apartment (and Petite Paris) AND homeowners of French MAisons are invited to get their home listed on the website too!

The L'Apartment website (www.lapartment.com.au) was created thanks to the huge success of our first site Petite Paris. I found I was receiving so many Australians with homes in Paris and France who wanted to feature their homes to our guests and followers, but naturally we weren't able to add them to the Petite Paris website as it was a specialty Parisian owned B&B service. I also received many requests over the years about other regions of France, where to go and what else is there to see in France! So it seemed a natural progression/expansion to create this new site that would reap all the publicity benefits that we have acquired with Petite Paris, for these homeowners, such as yourselves.

L'Apartment also acts as a source of French information, educating Australians about Other regions of FRance, not just Paris and lists homes in those regions :)

Latest publicity for us is The fab new digital Mag 'LE STYLE' launched today! This unique digital publication is specially for the busy, smart modern woman! It features photographic beauty of Paris and parts of France that is simple and stylish including insights on the Travel and Fashion buzz. Broadening various topics such as Bridal, Luxe and Lifestyle, readers will enjoy every bit of it!

ESCAPE Travel - Go to Paris!!

Its streamers, balloons, music and champers at Petite HQ!! We're a little over excited about the latest Petite editorial...we're featured in the ESCAPE travel section of the Sunday Telegraph in NSW, Sunday Times WA and Sun Herald Sun in VIC!!! Thank you Brian Crisp, National Travel Editor who we sent off to try out one of our B&Bs last year...he has come back with this fantastic write up about Carol one of our favourite hosts and her amazing B&B on the Saint Louis Island in the middle of le seine!!

Our guests rate our top 5 Paris B&Bs for the year that was…and its unanimous…our hosts are the WINNERS!!

We are a personalised B&B service that allows Australian guests to meet Paris locals, make friends, experience authentic Parisian life and to feel welcomed and looked after by our amazing, friendly and professional hosts in an inclusive intimate setting! Number 5: B&B342 – Dom and Erik’s home in the Denfert-Rochereau district.

Guests loved Dom and Erik, who included them in their family life and went beyond expected levels of service i.e. accompanying guests to pick up hire cars, assisting with language barriers, offering afternoon tea daily. Guests are given their own en suite living area but ALL preferred to spend time with Dom and Erik in their own family area never feeling uneasy or unwelcome - a fabulous testimony to the intimacy we promise our guests for an authentic Parisian life when staying at one of our B&Bs! 

Number 4: B&B371 – Monique’s B&B in the 17^th arrondissement – Batignolles!

We think Gypsy; the gorgeous little terrier that lives at this B&B is reason enough to love it! But our guests said it was Monique’s delightful nature; attentive hospitality ensuring they were always comfortable is what made their stay memorable and enjoyable. They loved her diverse breakfasts, the terraces, views of the Eiffel, the location with so many restaurants and cafes close by, but mostly…just Monique herself!

SO many declarations about Carol’s friendliness, welcoming nature, her advice and the time and attention she gives to the needs of each of our guests! On top of this, the immaculately presented B&B made our guests stay comfortable and special. Our guests said they felt like long lost friends of Carols, not merely paying guests and many have remained in contact with her. Carols knowledge of Paris was also a hit and finally breakfast was a standout too with fresh platters served professionally with music playing in the background!

Number 2: B&B333 – located in a residential area in the 15^th near Parc Georges Brassens - Feel the authenticity and richness of an area virtually free of tourists and full of everyday Parisian charm. (View this B&B here)

Guests become friends at Janine and Alains B&B333! Its not surprising since Janine and Alain do not offer their home and B&B for the income (neither of them need it) but purely for the love of meeting new people, offering authentic experiences and perfecting their B&B service…and guest sense this genuine welcome and hospitality! Janine keeps the B&B immaculate and guests are awestruck by her attentiveness. Guests rate this B&B also for its space, comfort and amenities.
