Your host

Your host, Danièle, was born in the Loire Valley castles area, but she has lived in Paris since her childhood. She lives alone with her cat Simpson.

Danièle loves Paris and she knows it very well. She will be able to give you good advice on where to go, apart from the main tourist centres, to see the hidden unspoilt places. She is very friendly and will receive you as true friends from afar.

Your host’s area

This bed and breakfast is the only one of our accommodations, which is not located inside Paris. We accepted it among the rare accommodations that we select for our clients because:
- it is only a few minutes walk from the border of Paris, in a very Parisian, smart and lively district, with many restaurants and cafés, as well as food shops.
- it is less expensive than other equivalent accommodations located inside Paris.
- Danièle, the host, is extremely friendly.

The building where Danièle lives is three minutes’ walk from the subway station Louise Michel at Levallois-Perret, and ten minutes’ walk from Paris at Porte Maillot.

It is easy to access with public transportation, in particular with Air France buses which come from the airports to Porte Maillot.

Your host accommodation

Danièle’s apartment is located on the ground floor of the building and has a private terrace of 30 square meters, completely surrounded by plants and flowers.

Upon entry into the apartment, is the living room and a dining room with an American style kitchen. This main room gives access to the terrace, bathroom, toilets and to Danièle’s private parts of the apartment.

The guest room is very independent as you have an access via the terrace; You are free to access the terrace and to the main room of the apartment as much as you want.

Your bedroom N° 410
The bedroom which is offered by Danièle is approximately 14 square meters, with a French window which opens on to the large terrace.

It is furnished with a double bed (140 x 200 cm) with a new mattress a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. There is a piano in the bedroom, you can play it if you like.

A set for warm drinks is at your disposal in the bedroom, as well as documentation and tourist books on Paris and some dictionaries.

The bathroom and toilets
The bathroom has to be shared with your host, but she will always give you priority use.
It is equipped with a shower and a sink.
Bath products and bath towels will be at your disposal, as well as a hair dryer.
Toilets are in separate room. They also are to be shared with Danièle.

A Jazzy B&B in Paris

We have a MAGNIFICENT new B&B in Paris - just landed this week!

Your own apartment AND unique garden in Paris!
Built in the 1870s the building was once part of a convent. So unique! Our Parisian host Marc is a well known jazz conductor and plays the sax at the famous 'Caveau de la Huchette' Jazz Club in the St Germain!
Marc offers great advice on the most famous places in Paris.

In the 17th district, not far from the Congress Centre and a few minutes’ walk from the Champs-Elysées, he offers more than a B&B, but a complete apartment located close to his which has its own private terrace over Marc’s garden, a true wonder and a rare luxury in Paris! You can have breakfast at Marc’s home or in your own apartment, or in the garden; as you wish.

Rates:
149euro - 1 person
180euro - 2 persons
204euro per night - 3 persons

Your host's area

Marc lives in a very residential area, close to the Congress Centre with its concert hall, exhibitions, shops and restaurants. The Arc of Tiumph and the Champs-Elysées are only a few minutes' walk from there. Very close, you will also find the Ternes Square with luxury fashion shops and two open-air markets. Public transportation (buses, subways, RER) are very close and will allow you to go everywhere in Paris fast and easily.

Marcs' home

Built in 1870 the building was first a convent for bretons nurses, before being transformed into apartments in 1950-60. The cloister has been transformed into six individual gardens. Marc bought two of these gardens to create one larger one of approximately160 square meters.

This garden in the heart of Paris is incredible. Decorated as an English style garden, it is full of curiosities such as a pond with gold fishes, a path with pots in the shape of an elephant on both sides, a palm tree, a banana tree and the most interesting: a real small creole house where you can have your meals, read or just organize your next visits.

You can have complete access to the garden and stay there as much as you want. At the back of the garden, he had the creole house built always available to you.

Marc's apartment is very quiet. It is composed of two parts  Marc's private part, and the apartment which is for the guests. In order to join these two parts, there is on one side a large garden and on the other side a private entry that give access to the two entry doors.
Your accommodation in the independent B&B / aparement N° 401

More than a simple guest room, but a complete apartment of 34m2 with a large bedroom of 20 square meters, a bathroom and a kitchen, including breakfast. Your host will be there at any time and available to answer your questions.

Marc will welcome you and explain all the specificities of the apartment. He will give you information on the area and will give you the keys of the apartment.

He will be at your disposal during your entire stay if you have any questions and he will serve breakfasts daily.

Your bedroom

The bedroom is equipped with a double bed (140 x 190 cm). The bed base and the headboard are of Indonesian style. The mattress is new, thick, without springs. The bed is prepared with sheets and a blanket (no quilt). The pillows do not have feathers.

There are cabinets for your personal belongings, a chest of drawers and a Voltaire armchair.

The additional bed for one person is hidden in a special cupboard.

Unusually there is an authentic wooden horse in the bedroom which comes from a merry-go-round of the end of the 19th Century, and an ivory statue.

You will have a large flat screen television in the bedroom, integrated in the furniture along the wall facing the bed. There is also a fan in the bedroom.

Your kitchen

Everything has been carefully prepared and organised by Marc, in particular the screen made of wrought iron to separate the kitchen from the bedroom, so that the whole space remains functional but keeps at the same time all its charm.

The kitchen is well equipped with hot plates, a refrigerator, an oven, a Nespresso coffee machine with caps, a luxury kettle, which can be used to boil eggs (with an integrated hourglass to check the cooking), a toaster with a grill pan to warm croissants.

Your bathroom and toilets

Your bathroom is private and large enough. It offers a bath with a shower on the wall, a sink and a dressing table with two mirrors.

Dressing gowns, bath towels, bath products as well as a hair dryer will be at your disposal. You will also have slippers.

The toilet is private and outside the bathroom. Its decoration is amazing. You cannot miss the ‘paper tree’ made by Marc, as well as all his tools harmoniously hanged on the wall.
Your private terrace and access to the garden

Your bedroom opens its French window sover a private terrace and Marc's garden.

This terrace is equipped with table and chairs and can allow you to benefit from the garden without going to the creole house.

Breakfast

According to your wishes and to the weather, Marc can serve breakfast in your apartment or in the creole house in the garden.

Breakfast is generous and typically French with coffee, tea, milk, orange juice, butter, jams, yogurt, cereals, dry fruits and season fruits and, of course, fresh baguette and croissants.
Marc will also offer you soft cheese (such as Vache qui rit, emmental or mimolette, you can let him know what you prefer), ham, eggs that you can boiled as you like in the kettle.

If you are gluten-allergic, Marc can replace the traditional croissants by croissants made of maize without gluten, and special bread.

Additional Information

Upon request, an iron and ironing table will be put at your disposal.

Marc's apartment is Wifi equipped. With your laptop, you can get connected to Internet.
