i fell in love with a B&B and had tea with a Parisienne clown. Meet Aline @ B&B335, a clown by profession she is always happy - ha! an art deco lover, teacup and saucer collector and delicious cake baker (she bakes one for all her guests)... i inspected her charming home and wanted to move it immediately!!! So gorgeous, and so is Aline who only offers bio organic ingredients for breakfast - yes organic bread, croissants, eggs, cakes, juice, tea - everything. Moments from Bercy Village - a place i shall return to when my camera battery isnt dead to show you all how beautiful Bercy village is in the 12th district - and its not a place listed in most guide books. Good I say, lets keep it a secret...oooops! here is ALine's home on our B&B:

February 23rd 2013:
bonjour everyone, happy samedi...here's a little tale of yesterday...i found my new favourite corner in montmartre, and my future home, got lost in haussmann heaven, then found the most unusual La Pagode Cinema - a japanese pagode / cinema and garden tearoom unexpectedly and suddenly jammed in between all the haussmanns in the 5th district (if you havent seen it or been there GO - the garden must be spectacular in the summer months, watched a movie, got my comedy fix :) coffee next door at Coutume cafe (best coffee in Paris) , on the way home a walk through the beautiful montmartre cimiterie again - cant help myself and admired VERY unusual gravestones, beef bourguignon for dinner at local bistro, takeaway crepes on the way home - O Paris, I'm so full! but theres always room for more.. :)

February 24th 2013:
i fell in love with a paris livre. many livres in fact. Yesteray a Paris i took a walk n george brassens parc. and went book shopping at Marché du livre ancien et d'occasion - (rare and out of print book flea markets) where I spent a morning indulging in my not so secret love - books. Touching, reading and smelling them all. i bought one called 'Night thoughts' a 19th century romanticism philosophical take on 'life, death and immortality' ...just what my whimsical ethereal mind loves. Its old tattered, musty the spine is peeling off. its perfect. and i got a free romantic novel with it HA! Here is why i bought it... 'Say pensive muse, whom dismal senses delight, Frequent at tombs and in the realms of the nigh. This truth how certain - when this life is o'er. Man dies to live and lives to die, no more! ...
words, the art of words, I adore!
