2. La REcylerie
Off the beaten Parisian track...

LOVE this~
In the North of Montmartre discover urban gardening and Electic food and drink. Les Jardins du Ruisseau, is a community garden located on the abandoned platforms of the city’s former commuter rail system. There's great appeal of this rough-around-the-edges area, attracting urban explorers and city picnickers since it opened 10 yrs ago. NEW to the project is, La REcyclerie, a cafeteria-style restaurant and bar co-opting the spirit of the quartier it is an open, airy space that is host to group gatherings and informative workshops. This is a great place for families too...theres a spacious dining room inside overlooking the garden and tracks, the outdoor picnic area. MAP

View the B&B is full detail on our website HERE

The apartment was beautifully provisioned for us and so comfortable and homely. Monica's stylish and artistic personality showed in the beautiful furnishings and decoration.

The location in a chic residential area with no other tourists! It was quiet and safe. Also the apartment's decor, comfort, beautiful balconies and views of the Arc de Triomphe as well as Sacre Coure and the Eiffel Tower. How wonderful is that! We want to move in!

Monica couldn't be there but her friend Hourria looked after us beautifully. She went above and beyond and made us feel very much at home. She was a very nice woman who went out of her way to help us and we really appreciated it. She is an asset to Monique and Petite Paris. We loved the breakfast every monring. Generous and varied.

This was my second experience with PP and it was even better than the first. I have recommended PP to lots of friends. The info on the website was very comprehensive and accurate. We especially liked the photos. The links to Paris tips were very helpful.

Petite Pariscope
Monthly Paris Tips

1. Le Bar Dix
or what we call 'the sangria spot'

A local dive preserved since 1955 serving the best sangria in town. It'd be hard to find something more ‘real’, this tiny cave venue, covered in posters with jukebox playing tunes from the Goldman, Brassens and Ferré era. Menu is minimal but its ok you’ll mostly be ordering sangria or sangria. Cheap. MAP

2. Boulangerie Mauclerc Veronique
Get the pistachio buns

A rare bakery using a wood-burning oven, famed for its fabulous breads and delicious Pistachio buns. Positively dreamy inside steeped in tradition with poetic words such as Eclair Chantilly Frasies, Pistache Amandes noisettes and pain à l'épeautre. Located in the 19th, at Butte Chaumant park. MAP

A cool Cultural space in Paris

A cool public art space in the 19th where artists of all types work in studios on site, allowing the public to view their work in production. Watch dancers and perfomers, work from your laptop (free Wi-Fi), have lunch at the Cafe Cache, second hand store, gift stores, great bookstore with regular author readings - it can easily become a favourite saturday morning spot. 4. Musee Gustav Moreau
Romantic and dramatic art

Amazing find- a delightful little museum dedicated to the works of symbolist French painter (9th district) combines the small private apartment of Gustav (1826-98). Utterly dramatic and beautiful with walls covered in Gustavs amazing and striking detailed art based mostly on myths and legends.  MAP
