9am: Wake
up enjoy breakfast waiting for you in your Petite Paris B&B. Take

10.30am KB Coffee Shop MAP
For a hit of Paris newer breeds of 'good coffee' spots go to this
Australian owned hotspot. Its usually packed with locals on laptops but
its a great sunny and bright energetic spot to start your day.
11.00am: Shopping on Rue Martyrs MAP
Continue down Rue Martyrs, a lovely non-touristy strip of fresh food
stores, cafes and shopping boutiques. Stop into the best boulangerie in
Paris (awarded and renowned) Arnaud Delmontel
11.45pm Musee de la vie Romantique MAP
Musee Gustav Moreau MAP
Two favourite small museums; gorgeous must-see's. The romantique museum
has a lovely garden cafe as well as its beautiful antique art and to
admire. Gustav Moreau the French Painter museum was also his home and
studio, it is a dramatic display of his famous baroque style of art.
1pm Hotel Amour for lunch MAP
A secret spot in Paris known only to local and the odd celebrity. A
gorgeous dainty garden cafe in a bohemian boutique setting with
delicious French menu.
2pm: Printemps MAP
Visit the first of Paris' famous department stores for a spot of
shopping. this is the high-end designer complex with the MUST-VISIT Cafe Pouchkine for the most decadent pastries in the city MAP
2.30pm Galeries Lafayette MAP
Galeries Lafayette is worth a visit to see the art nouveau interior,
especially at Christmas time. Be sure to visit the Gourmet department
for a whole supermarket of decadent local and international hard-to-find
foods and ingredients, with cafes and visit Pierre Herme chocolate store in there. Finally a trip to the rooftop will give you sweeping views of the city.
4pm La Garnier Opera MAP
Visit the famous Opera house in Paris built in 1875. Go inside, take the
tour, its a spectacular sight of Baroque art and where you will feel
the spirit of the greatest composers. TIP: You can often buy very cheap
tickets from the box office on the day from 15euro per person.
5pm: Cafe de la Paix MAP
Cross the famous Opera Garnier is one of Paris' most iconic Cafes' De la
Paix. Sitting across from the Opera on the bustling boulevard, it is
people watching at tits best. Beware: pricey drinks (5euro a coffee) but
you pay for the status and style.
6.00pm Passage Verdeau MAP or Passage Jouffroy MAP
Take a stroll through 2 of Paris; historic passages. Famous
thoroughfares used to cross the city in the 18th century. Today
beautiful restored art nouveau style passages with cafes, tearooms,
boutiques, tailors, craft stores and more.
7.00pm Pre-dinner drinks @ Autour d'un Verre MAP
For an aperitif pre-dinner this highly recommended winebar has a lovely
wamr vibe and a great long list of French wines to enjoy.
8pm Dinner @ Chartier Bouillon MAP
Another iconic cult place in Paris. A MUST restaurant to dine in. Famous
for its large convival art nouveau architecture, its French food for
very reasonable prices. It is a secret to locals who like to dine well
without the hefty Parisian price tag. Delicious and bustling fun.
10pm Kick on @ Le Carmen MAP
Or watch a show at Opera Garnier (Above)
If you're looking to dance, this is a popular glitzy after-dark address
in the party Pigalle neighbourhood of Paris. Spot celebrities and twirl
under the disco ball. OR watch a ballet or opera show at the Opera
Garnier to end a perfectly Parisian night.
