you are travelling to Paris from now to August the following
exhibitions are a MUST
1. Paris 1900 - La Ville Spectacle
Paris 1900 - The City of Entertainment
The exhibition ‘Paris 1900, The City of Entertainment’ is an invitation
to the public to relive the splendour of the French capital at the time
when the Paris Exposition Universelle was heralding the arrival of the
20th century. Over 600 works will plunge visitors to the Petit Palais
into the atmosphere of Belle Époque Paris. There will be paintings,
objets d’art, costumes, posters, photographs, films, furniture,
jewellery, sculptures.

2. Robert Mapplethorpe
One of the great NY masters of art photography exhibiton, Mapplethorpe
produced highly stylised black and white portraits, nudes and still
lifes. Over and above the erotic power that made Mapplethorpe’s work
famous, the exhibition presents the classic dimension of the artist’s
work and his search for aesthetic perfection, through over 200 images
that span his career from the early 1970s to his untimely death in 1989.
