We have gorged on old and new favourites:

1. Du Pain et des Idees - 10eme

Highly recommended by our B&B hosts in the area and deservedly so... We devoured L'Escargot aux Pralines, Le Chausson à la Pomme Fraiche, Tarte aux Pommes, and take away Corn bread (made only once a week on Wednesdays) ...Nothing could be cosier that a paris patisserie and watching the rain fall in Paris

2. Delmontel Au
A newly discovered local place in Montmartre servng the best baguettes we have ever had to date in Paris. This is serious, we're throwing our hands up and declaring its Delmontel for 'les meilleures baguettes de Paris' (The best baguettes in Paris). No other boulangerie makes me run to its door to get the fresh batch like Delmontel does ha!!

and lets talk about the cakes. Pure perfection. This is what art looks and tastes like people. go there. There is one on rue Damremont in Montmartre but 2 other locations too, two in the 9th and 17th.
